I am a consciousness soul, lover of spirituality and science, quantum physics - that's me

I believe it's important that you are properly introduced to me from the onset as a consciousness soul. My aim is to build a relationship with you as my visitor. In time I will get to know some details about you too (you can subscribe to my newsletter at the bottom of the page), but for know here's a little about me.

I was born in Kroonstad in a small rural town in the Free State province of the Republic of South Africa (yes Nelson Mandela country!). I grew up as a conservative Christian and eventually entered into a B.A. in Theology as a pre-amble to joining the seminary and become a minister. I have a deep understanding of Jesus spirituality. I also wrote a book about the journey from there to where I am today, so I won't elaborate on that too much here.

Today I have a different worldview. After 28 years, I am not a Christian any more, although I have great respect for those that remain in that religious environment (most of family does) and also for the Jesus spirituality. My concept of God has evolved and so has my own understanding of consciousness and spirituality. This is why I started this website. It seems that there is a lot of information on consciousness and a lot on spirituality, but very little on the combination. Incidentally one of the major catalyst for my own growth was the movie What the bleep do we know. I developed a love for spirituality and science in the form of quantum physics, which I could not blend before. It is well worth watching as an introduction to so many topics on this site.

My interest in knowing the basics of quantum physics, the definition of consciousness, what is spirituality and science has introduced me to many great authors such as Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle (The Power or Now, A New Earth - a favorite of Oprah Winfrey), Stuart Hameroff, etc.

I am married to a wonderful wife and have a son called Noah Daniel. It is my privilege to share with you on this site and trust that it will become a dialogue between me and you my visitors.
