Eckart Tolle is the most inspirational teacher of his time. His teachings are really simple as he illustrates the illusions that the mind brings to us as real. We worry about a future that does not exist as we can only experience THIS moment and so the future is imagined. We concern ourselves about the past as if we can change it, while we can only experience THIS moment. It is only the NOW that really exists. This is a collection of his videos:

I particularly enjoy this dissection of the ego as I also understand that the ego is essentially rooted in the subconscious and that the latter does not relinquish control that easily. It ALWAYS finds logical arguments to convince you that the energy is spending on self-identification, the future and the past has meaning and purpose. It has meaning and purpose only to the self-preservation of the ego and hence the subconscious' obsession with it.
