Who or what is God? This question has perplexed humanity for as long as we have walked upright. Every civilization and society has had their own interpretations through the millennia.

Over the past 18 years I’ve been on a spiritual journey to find my own answer to this question. I could no longer be held captive by what others believe God to be. The question was too integral to my own being to accept anybody else’s opinion any longer. I have been fortunate to walk an amazing road and discover that God is more than what humanity has over millennia reduced the concept to be.

Most mainstream religions have made God in their own image, and in doing so have bound God with chains in some way, likewise the Christian faith that I grew up with. This book describes my journey of unchaining God. I wrote it for those Christians out there who have dared to ask difficult questions, or who know in their inner being that there has to be something more to spirituality.

This book is for those who have dared to challenge God, who have felt dissonance with the church movement, and who are feeling misunderstood and lonely in their spiritual journeys. I have unchained God through many years of questioning, and I am inviting you to join me on my journey. My life is testimony that unchaining God is the most spiritually fulfilling thing you can do. In fact, I believe that you cannot find spiritual enlightenment with God in chains. So go ahead. Your life will never be the same. Go and explore it for yourself.
