It is my impression that the whole notion of the law of attraction has become a whole marketing gimmick. Every second guy wants to think up a new set of laws, forgotten or not. Ultimately there are really no distinct set of laws of attraction. There is only quantum physics. Consider that there is no proof in science for the law of attraction. Quantum physics are giving us some hints, which is what most people use to quantify the notion.
The movie What bleep do we know opened up the public awareness of the role that quantum physics and consciousness play in the process of manifesting. Up to that stage the whole idea of manifesting really belonged to the metaphysical world and resides mostly in the realm of spirituality The unified field theory is also starting to hint at the convergence of both quantum physics and Newtonian physics. While there is still no proof, Michio Kaku and other physicists are working hard to get proof.
So what is the bottom line? These so called universal laws really just comes down to the ability of a conscious being to influence the matter in the universe by merely being a conscious observer.
